The WING STATUS identifier uses a progressionary system of Wing Stripes to indicate the proficiency of the wearer in Tactical/Combat skill sets with BRONZE indicating minimal or basic competancy; SILVER indicating high compentancy and GOLD indicating Command Level compentancy.

The bottom Wing Stripe indicates the compentancy of the wearer in Mobile Infantry, Combat or Ground Operations.

The Three Wing Stripes above are used for displaying compentancy with Transport, Tactical and Fleet Operations.
