The GROUND OPERATIONS division of the United Network Space Command manages and operates the various Mobile Artillery, Surface Combat and Astral resources needed to ensure the security and preservation of stability throughout the UNSA sphere of influence.

ASTRAL OPERATIONS:

"From Space to Surface"
ASTRAL OPERATIONS are the rapid movement of military force from high orbit to the surface of any world.

The largest Astral component is the ASTRAL READY GROUP.   Centered around a specialized Light Carrier loaded with an assortment of Landing craft, and supported by at least 4 Task Force Vehicles, the ARG is capable of delivering thousands of Troopers, Tanks and Support Vehicles to any surface in minutes instead of hours.   There are 15 ARG's operating throughout the Solar System.   For more information click HERE.

MOBILE ARTILLERY::

"Securing Terrain: The Key to Victory"
Specifically trained operations capable of perimeter protection and penetration.   MOBILE ARTILLERY primarily relies upon effective use of ATTAX Hover TANKS to penetrate and secure objectives before turning into support for Surface Combat and Peacekeeping.

SURFACE COMBAT AND PEACEKEEPING::

"Combat, Patrol, and Policing"
The smallest element of Ground Operations and Astral Forces is the Trooper.   Each member of the force is supplied with a wide variety of tools to best assist them in the performance of their duties, which on an individual basis may include anything from Disaster Relief, Basic Policing, Crowd Control to full Combat Operations.   More than any other force in history a Ground Forces SCP Trooper (affectionately called "SCIPPIES" by some) are a sure sign that whatever chaos has affected a region is on the path to stability.   For more information click HERE.
