SPACE COMMAND BASE OPS
Base Operations is the paramilitary arm of the United Network Space Command responsible for the operations of all non-terrestrial bases, platforms, space stations and space colonies. The specific areas of responsibility include Administration, Supply, Facilities Maintenance, Security, Import/Export Control, Customs and Excise. Included under this arm for the purposes of Resources Allocation, QuarterMaster and Payroll services are the Information Management Group. The ranks for this group (click here to view the RANK COMPARATIVE LIST) follow historical Army ranks for Officers with the base (Entry Level) ranks more reflective of Police practices. A major reason for this is that the Security Services branch is under the umbrella of Base Ops. (See image of STATION 5 SECURITY SERVICES BADGE - right)
