YAW

Motion along the X axis. The pivoting action side to side of a craft. YAW is the only vector which occurs to vessels travelling across a plain (flat surface) as well as in a medium. Also known as ANGLE. One of three vectors which must be considered for controlled flight in open space the others being PITCH and ROLL.
