MacMANUS returns to the Earth of the original timeline where he had never been born and tries to piece together his family's history. During this he meets Pamela Newhaven2, CEO of MAG-STAR, who led the take-over and dismantling of RIGEL Aerospace decades earlier. MacMANUS quickly discovers that his mother is an even worse adversary when you're not related to her.
