MacMANUS is mistaken for MEG by the HAABEIH and his shuttle is shot down. CAHILL and the VINDICATOR, local to this, are assigned the task of dealing with him. Injured and still suffering from the guilt of KATYA's death MacMANUS overtakes CAHILL's ship starting it back for the MEG Border, ready to restart the War if necessary to free the
