The Official History of the Outaouais Lava
- 1904
- June 14 - Berthier twins (Maurice et Etienne) born in Maniwaki township, Québec
- 1906
- January 1 - Outaouais Ouefs Athletics club formed by workers at local farm. Lacrosse is primary focus
- 1910
- - Team renamed club de Hockey l'Ouefs d'Outaouais
- 1922
- August 9 - Renauld Berthier born to parents Maurice and Melodie
- 1929
- October 7 - Maurice Berthier buys the Outaouais Ouefs
- 1931
- - Etienne buys into team - provides capital for application to join proposed
THL (Team Hockey League)
- - Ouefs renamed OUTAOUAIS LAVA on acceptance to THL
- - LAVA roll out first logo
- - THL formed - original 4 teams each represent an element of nature
( Fire=Lava / Water=Glaciers / Air=Nor'Easters / Land=Tundra )

- - FIRST Buchan cup win

- February 5 - Future Lava Coach and GM Tom Sparks born - Kingston, Ontario

- - Etienne sells 10% stake to YOW River Brews
- - Maurice gives half of his stake to son, Renauld
- 1955
- April 2 - Franko Berthier born to Renauld and Therese
- - FIFTH Buchan cup win
- - Renauld gives newborn son (Franko) 10% share of team

- - 3rd logo introduced

- - Annie Berthier born to Renauld and Therese

- - SIXTH Buchan cup win

- 1967
- June 30 - Etienne dies, the remainder of his shares are sold to YOW River Brews to cover his outstanding debts
- 1968
- - Tom Sparks begins coaching career on staff to Lakeview Glaciers
- 1970
- - SEVENTH Buchan cup win (begins official first Dyansty period)

- 1972
- - EIGHTH Buchan cup win

- 1973
- - NINTH Buchan cup win

- 1974
- - Tom Sparks transfers to LAVAL, made Assistant Head Coach
- 1975
- - Franko Berthier joins team as Defenceman
- 1977
- - LAVA Head office moves across river
- - FOURTH logo introduced

- - TENTH Buchan cup win (FIRST TEAM TO WIN TEN)

- 1979
- - ELEVENTH Buchan cup win
- July 20 - Tom Sparks (34) marries Annie Berthier (18)
- 1980
- - Tom Sparks made Head Coach of Outaouais Lava
- - Melodie Sparks born
- - TWELFTH Buchan cup win (begins official second Dyansty period)

- - Bobby Two-Four dies in car accident while visiting family in the Yukon
- 1992
- - Renauld dies (72). His will elevates Tom Sparks to GM
Splits his remaining shares among family
- - Franko retires from Hockey. Following summer break becomes
commentator on new cable channel - LAVA TV
- - FIFTH logo introduced at start of season
- 2002
- - 70th Anniversary of OUTAOUAIS LAVA
- - Charge for Buchan cup fails with devastating Game 7 loss
to Detroit's GROSSE POINT BLANC
- 2007
- - Franko's wife (Elizabeth Papillion) dies at age 49
- 2008
- - Rookie Marcel "HABO" Habonear joins the Outaouais Lava on Right Wing
By end of season wins Wagner scoring trophy
- - Annie Berthier-Sparks (46) divorces Tom Sparks

- - Tom Sparks has massive heart attack mid-season
- - Assistant GM Melodie Sparks takes over team
- - New Head Coach George Wildeberry joins team after four seasons
with the TEXAS HAIL
