Hi everyone,
Let me introduce myself. I'm Owen Post, President of the Lava.
I'm really excited about the opportunities before us this season. The chance to learn about your great culture, why you like snow, and why you're so passionate about ice, particularly when it involves six big men with sticks and a black piece of rubber.
I want you to know that we at the EXTRABREW family of companies are eager to see the Lava Ice Hockey team do better this season and we're committed to ensuring the best chances exist for this team to make it all the way this year.
I've got a lot of ideas that I feel will help make that possible and I'm counting on your support as we turn this team around.
Now, we're not trying to change everything, but God only knows a lot could (and probably should) be changed, I mean those Jersey's are a hundred years old or something, right?
But I want you to know that the EXTRABREW family of companies, as well as myself, get that you Canadians have a real passion and fondness for things as they are - except the losing streak - and that's why I'm here to help the LAVA win more games, which will improve our standing in the League, and give us a better chance at the playoffs this year (they are called playoffs in Hockey, right? Great.).
And yeah, with that will come a boost in company profits but in my world we call that a win-win!
So stand back and enjoy because this next season is going to be the best the Out-A-Ways Lava ever had!
I guarantee it!
And remember, "If it's tasty and refreshing it's probably EXTRABREW!" ™

Hello / Bonjour!
The previous Hockey season was a nightmare that even the last minute rally couldn't save, but we spent the summer reworking our strategy and even picked up some great players at the draft.
As the new General Manager I want you to know that I am committed to bringing the LAVA back to its glory days, capturing the victories we need on the annual march to the Finals and the Buchan Cup we all desire, not as someone only interested in profit, but as a life-long fan of this team, your team, MY TEAM!
