Where Gary and Trudie send off Mike, meet up again in Vancouver - where D joins us, then continue to Hawaii for a very early first day visit to the beach.

While Trudie's at the beach, Mike, G & D take to the road in two open air trolley tours, where they see FROM HERE to ETERNITY and BEYOND!

Leaving the others to their own interests our hero wanders around Waikiki for the day, then joins up with the rest at Jimmy Buffet's for Dinner.

While everyone else is merrily on their way Gary falls victime to heat exhaustion and barely makes it back to the hotel in time for a series of cold baths - then, despite not quite being on his game, joins Trudie for a walk through Honolulu's meagre Zoo.

Where Trudie's birthday begins with the Beatles playing VH1 and ends in a suite at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.

Another trip into downtown Honolulu, this time stopping at the State Building, moving past the Royal Palace and onto the relic that is the Hudson's Bay Company "Brass Beaver" weather vane - still standing.   Then back for the trip out to Germane's LUAU on the western beach.

After consuming our last free breakfast at the hotel we check out, head to the beach, ride a sub to 104ft below the surface and then rendenzvous back at Jimmy Buffet's for a final meal in Waikiki before heading to the open air Airport.

Overnight flight back from Hawaii to Vancouver, with an "Amazing Race" style stop-over that included a rush on the new Canada Line Skytrain to Richmond Centre, breakfast with Larry, Good-bye to D, and the return rush for the flight from YVR to Toronto.   The trip ends as all good trips do, with a stop at my 7-Eleven... ah, Canada!
