OF MORONS AND MEN

There is a rogue state out there more dangerous than Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Pakistan and France combined.

They've ignored international treaties they signed, have repeatedly been on the losing end of international tribunals for trade infractions and have in their brief history aggressively invaded every nation bordering them.

The leadership of this rogue state was propped into position by a corrupt Judicial system that overrode the decision of it's electorate denying the fair winner of that election from assuming power.   The leaders of the Coupe have pointed to the Military as the deciding factor in their victory.

Since taking over this rogue state has alienated itself, driving wedges between itself and traditional Allies with unreasonable demands and restrictive protectionistic trade practices that have backfired nearly crippling the nation's economy.

Censorship of the media and of dissenting voices across this nation by a radicalized few aligned with the ruling Junta has artificially created a sense of unity among the populace despite the striking success of certain pockets of opposition but the illusion remains.

This rogue state has violated international law many times in the last few years including the holding of Prisoners of War without adherance to the Geneva Convention by relabelling them but most recently this Rogue state has shown a dangerous new side of themselves by agressively invading another nation that was incapable of launching even a defensive, never mind an attack.

Worse still they've been documented using both Chemical, Biological and Nuclear weapons in war and on their own citizens.

This nation is the United States of America as currently seen by most of the world, even to a large part by the people of England, their closest ally.

So my question to the citizens of the United States is this:   Are you people insane?!   Do you actually support Bush the Second and his Rogue State Doctrine?   Understand that when I say Rogue State Doctorine I'm referring to you, the United States, as the Rogue State.

This isn't the Middle Ages you know, the age of Empires sweeping over the map without challenge is supposed to be long gone.   You people have a very dangerous person at the forefront of your Government and he's armed and dangerous.   Seriously, if you don't take the sharp pointy objects away from the man your courts have named President soon he's going to take out an eye!   If that hasn't happened already.

The United States of America has been one of the most generous nations in the world, no, in the history of the world.   And throughout this history they've increasingly proven themselves to be the defenders of fundamental freedoms.   In the process they've stepped ahead as the only superpower and proven in less than four years that absolute power corrupts absolutely.

September 11th was a horrible event, a contender for the worst single day in the history of bad days, right up there with Hiroshima and Nagasaki for the cost of innocent human lives but it does not remove from our American cousins the responsibilities of civilization.

And it does not provide license to kill anyone just because you don't like the way they're looking at you.

Consider that if you applied the same type of "preventative" steps you're engaged in to fight "Terrorism" on a much bigger threat to your citizens, IE: guns, that the United States wouldn't have a single firearm left, but hey, then you'd only be violating ONE of your constitutional rights!

It's head-shaking to the rest of the world to see the same President and party who would not even consider suspending the 2nd Amendment's protection of the rights to bear arms that kill more than 11 thousand people in your country annually casually trample on nearly every other right, freedom and international law in a preventative pursuit of those aligned with murderer's who killed 3 thousand of your citizens two years ago.

This time will go down in your history as a bigger embarrassment than both the Vietnam War and the Communist Witch-hunts combined.   As a nation you need counseling, prosac and a time out.   Invading Iraq was not a just response to 9/11, it was an action previously only taken by rogue states and that's the problem.   The United States has become the most frightening of beasts, unchallengable.

Now I say this as a citizen of one of the first nations you tried "regime change" on, nearly two hundred years ago in the WAR OF 1812.   It's probably an underlying current of why Canadians were so reluctant to support your invasion of Iraq, we've been on the receiving end of your pointy stick.   Fortunately we were strong enough to repell you or there'd be a few more stars on your flag.   But that was then, now we're not so lucky.

Fact is the only credible challenge to American world dominance will have to come from within because heaven help the rest of us.   We can't stop you.
