THE CHARACTERS
MELODIE SPARKS
A tough as nails fighter, able to duke it out on the ice and in the boardroom.   As the series begins Melodie is elevated to the General Manager position of the team her family founded; much to the delight of some, and the concern of others.  

OWEN POST
American MBA who has no familiarity Hockey or Canada.   As the series begins Owen is sent up by the new Owners of the team to supervise Melodie; she isn't told about this ahead of time.  

UNCLE FRANKO
The francophone "Don Cherry" and voice of the Outouais LAVA; he wants family running the team again, at all costs!  

ANNIE BERTHIER
Melodie's mother is also her nemesis off the ice, but it turns out this late blooming cougar holds the key to the team's future too.  

MARCEL HABONEAR      
"Habo" is the oddly quiet star forward on the Hockey team who has more than a few admirers.
