From Sheila Collins report to the 2007 Advent Trinity Tidings... The Youth Group has been behaving, - well, rather like adults so far this year.   Having decided to earn ourselves some money, that we might indulge a little, the group set about organizing a garage sale and a bake sale, and hosting an International Dinner.   The 10 youth members rallied, and earned over a thousand dollars for the group; the garage sale went very well, and the International Dinner was a phenomenal success! The decision was made to donate a fair percentage of our earning back to the church (in thanks for letting us use the space), and to keep a small percentage for donations to charitable organizations in Mississauga.   The rest of the money is waiting for the proverbial "rainy day". Having worked and been entirely responsible for 6 weeks, the plans for the next little while are - well, rather less adult: we will spend a couple of months playing dodge ball, feeding ducks, (and "absolutely favourite pasttime of the group, to the point where we might be called "the Trinity Duck-Feeding Brigade"), and consuming simple carbohydrates by the kilo.   The group will also be involved in the various parish activities, such as Church School parties, the Bazaar and Christmas Outreach. The Youth Group would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who donated items for the garage sale, and who attended the International Dinner.   We also appreciate the individual financial donations which have been made by serveral parishioners.   Our group could not exist without your support.
